It’s a rainy day and even the landscape is less attractive.
PN Monte León is the home of about 60,000 Magallan Pinguins and 300 Sea Lions. A 6,5 km ride with our mountain bikes takes us to the pinguin colony. These guys are like clowns. One came quiet close while I was sitting on the view deck floor.
It is stunning light since the sun is out.
Next to us on the camp ground are Enio and Marines from Natal / Brasil. They want to travel around the world with their 12 tons truck.
Low tide is at 18h53. We are absolutely lucky to be able to walk around the bird island Monte León in the afternoon as this is only possible 6 times a year when the tide is at its lowest level.
Maria and I met for the first time at Lago Roca (PN Tierra del Fuego) when I asked her if she speaks English. She and Hugo are from Buenos Aires.
